This week I was interested in getting feedback from you.
There's a saying amongst the legal fraternity that you should never ask a question you don't know the answer to in a court room as it may grossly harm your clients chances but I'm going to ignore that advice and put my finger under the lid of that can of worms and open it right up.
My first question is apart from not publishing any price information, what is the most annoying thing an agent does when they post a new property online?
Do you watch property videos? If the answer is no, why and if yes what do and don't you like about them (ie. too long, the agent is in them too much, no narrative etc.)
What form of communication from an agent best suits you? (ie. text message, email, phone call, face to face at the property)
On which device (if at all) do you view property the most? (ie. iPhone, iPad, Android device, desktop computer, etc.)
How many photos of a property are TOO many?
Would you buy an established property without inspecting it physically but through viewing it with virtual reality devices (googles,etc)?
What time of the week do you mainly look at property and would like to see new listings posted ? (ie. Monday, mid week, weekend)
Which website do you look at ? (ie. only domain.com.au or realestate.com.au or both)
Do you want to see property advertised on social media and if so in what form? (ie. new properties, sneak previews, just sold, etc.)
Feel free to be as open and honest as you can, as general or specific as you wish. I always find constructive criticism far more beneficial than silent complaints. You can't fix a problem you don't know exists.
As a middle aged generation X male with two teenaged children out of three I also find a lot of this stuff overwhelming but fascinating in the same breath. For example, I don't think I've seen my 15 year old daughter watch a program of any sort on our lounge room TV for the entire school holiday period. This would have been unheard of barely two to three years ago but I think the family homes of tomorrow won't even have television screens or land line phones.
Things are changing quicker in our world more than ever before in our entire history so any feedback you provide would be most appreciated.
