Market Update 23/17/2017
Another week whizzes by with March less than a week away.
I'm 45 years old and could have sworn that the first two months of this year feel literally like two weeks. Is it just me or is time fast becoming the most valuable commodity in this ridiculously busy world we now live in? Far more valuable than money..
For those of you interested in watching the current Inner West property market in real time I can't recommend more highly getting out to one of our on-site Auctions this weekend.
I have likened this experience to literally standing on the trade room floor at the stock exchange and seeing first hand what is happening with property prices.
We had four Auctions scheduled for this Saturday (25/2/17) however one has sold prior at 17 Wallace Avenue Marrickville. The others will go under the hammer as follows:
- 10AM : 2/55 Garnet Street Dulwich Hill - 2 B/R Townhouse + carport and car space
- 4PM : 27 Calvert Street Marrickville - 3 B/R freestanding home + rear parking
- 4.45PM : 26 Wardell Road Earlwood - 3 B/R Double fronted home + double garage
All three homes are available for inspection fifteen minutes prior and you are most welcome to attend.
With Easter and the school holiday period just six weeks away, you will find most New Year Auction campaigns finishing in the next fortnight. After that many Agents will hold back their new listings to avoid the traditionally quiet early April period.
So if you see something that might not be perfect but you like enough to consider buying don't hesitate waiting for that wave of new properties because it more than likely won't be happening anytime soon.
