Market Update 29/09/17
As we head into the Long Weekend it's all systems go with our office opening up all our properties for you to inspect. If you are staying in Sydney please come and visit us.
Last weekend we held a fantastic Auction at 111 Crinan Street Hurlstone Park. If you missed all the action you can watch it here on this link: https://youtu.be/FgDbjyDFCcw
Next week we will have all the Auction results in for the suburbs of Marrickville, Dulwich Hill, and Hurlstone Park so keep an eye out for that.
The Reserve Bank will also meet on Tuesday with speculation slowly mounting about rates rising which are very interesting. Whilst my prediction is no change I think we are getting much closer to the first increase for many years as our country's economic vital signs of inflation, unemployment, wages growth and general consumer spending continue to ever so slightly point to an opportunity to raise interest rates - something I believe the Reserve Bank has wanted to do for a long time in order to calm the rampant Sydney and Melbourne property markets.
And it will be a weird Sydney weekend with no representation in either of the two big footy grand finals. So, as we enjoy the warmer weather and maybe take a trip to one of our magnificent beaches good luck to all the expats living here as your Adelaide, Melbourne and North Queensland teams duke it out.
That's it from me. Have a great long weekend and I'll see you next Thursday.
